Awareness Seminar on Comprehensive Health Insurance at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education

The General Administration for Environmental Projects, under the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Port Said University, organized an awareness seminar entitled “The Importance of Comprehensive Health Insurance” on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, in cooperation with the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance in Port Said.

The seminar was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Saleh, President of Port Said University, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Kamel Farah, Supervisor of the General Administration for Environmental Projects, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Amani Ibrahim El-Desouki, Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education.

The seminar featured presentations by:

Ms. Manal Tamam, Public Relations Director, General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance in Port Said

Ms. Iman Yassin, Public Relations Specialist at the Authority

Dr. Wafaa Galal, Oral and Dental Specialist at the Comprehensive Health Insurance Authority

The speakers highlighted the services provided under the Comprehensive Health Insurance system, its benefits, subscription rates, data updating procedures, categories exempt from subscription, and the beneficiary’s right to choose a service provider from contracted entities.

The seminar witnessed active engagement from students and administrative staff, with a total of 55 participants, reflecting the university’s commitment to raising health awareness and promoting social responsibility.

The seminar was organized under the supervision and coordination of Ms. Nevin Marzouk Khalaf Allah Zein El-Din, Director General of the General Administration for Environmental Projects.
