
The General Administration for Environmental Projects, under the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Port Said University, organized a medical, nursing, and development caravan for the Port Fouad Elderly Care Home in Port Said Governorate on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, as part of the university’s humanitarian and community initiatives.
The caravan was part of Port Said University’s community engagement efforts and aligned with the state’s vision to support the elderly, offering medical services in ophthalmology, neurology, rheumatology, orthopedics, internal medicine, and cardiology.

In attendance:
Ms. Amira Imam – Director of the Elderly Care Department in Port Fouad
Activities included:
Medical examinations for 50 elderly individuals aged 60 to 80 years
Dispensing and distributing free medication by the pharmacy team
Measuring blood pressure and blood sugar by the nursing team
Distributing breakfast meals and sweets to the residents
Providing bedding sets to ensure residents’ comfort
The caravan was organized and supervised by Ms. Nevin Marzouk Khalaf Allah Zein El-Din, Director General of the General Administration for Environmental Projects, reflecting Port Said University’s commitment to community service and support for the elderly.
