As part of Port Said University’s ongoing commitment to enhancing health awareness and developing essential first aid skills among its students, the Scientific and Technological Activities Department organized the third First Aid Campaign under the slogan “A Second Equals Life.” The campaign was hosted at the Faculty of Management Technology and Information Systems and targeted students from the Faculties of Management Technology and Information Systems, Law, and Science.
The event was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, and was graciously hosted by Professor Dr. Yasser Ahmed Hamed, Dean of the Faculty of Management Technology and Information Systems.
The awareness campaign and workshop were led by Dr. Mohamed El-Saeed, Lecturer in the Department of Internal Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Nursing. The event witnessed strong student participation, reflecting their eagerness to learn first aid skills and master the correct methods of emergency response. First aid is not merely a life-saving medical practice, but a humanitarian responsibility that every individual in society should embrace.
